No hidden numbers, no "call for pricing" runaround. Here's what we pay for every type of scrap metal we accept. Prices are updated regularly and subject to market conditions.
Scrap metal is priced by type, grade, and weight. "Clean" metal (no paint, rubber, plastic, or other materials attached) always pays more than "dirty" or mixed metal. Sorting your material before you come in will get you a significantly better price.
Ferrous metals (steel, iron) stick to a magnet. They're the most common and usually priced by the ton. Non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum, brass) don't stick to a magnet. They're more valuable and priced by the pound.
Not sure what you have? Bring it in. We'll identify it, explain the grading, and give you a fair price. No judgment, no pressure — we're here to help.

Sort your metals. Separating copper from aluminum from steel before you come in means we can grade each one at its highest value instead of pricing the whole load as mixed. Even rough sorting helps.
Clean it when you can. Removing plastic, rubber, insulation, or fittings from your metal bumps it from a lower grade to a higher grade. Stripping insulation off copper wire, for example, can double or triple your payout.
Use a magnet. If it sticks, it's ferrous (steel/iron). If it doesn't, it's non-ferrous (copper, aluminum, brass) and worth more per pound. A simple refrigerator magnet is all you need.
Not sure? Just bring it in. We're happy to sort and grade your material for you. We'd rather you bring it in unsorted than leave it sitting in your garage.
